DEVELOPMENTAL HOCKEY CLASSES

SUMMER 2 SESSION: July 29 to August 23rd, 2025
No class on  the week of 7/20 - 7/26

*  You have the option also to sign up for our 10 week session. There is no early bird discount for the summer session since its already discounted

*Sign up by the Early Bird Deadline and receive a $30 discount PLUS receive Unlimited Free admission to all Public Skates for that session. There is no early bird discount for the summer sessions.

PROGRAM OBJECTIVES

To provide a fun and safe skating experience for beginner, as well as, more advanced players.
To teach correct technique of the simple basic elements.
To promote health and physical fitness.
To enable all participants to achieve the skills necessary to either enjoy hockey for fun for the rest of their lives or to move competently into the hockey competitive structure.

    PROGRAM INFO
    The program consists of Snowplow Sam 1, Tot-Hockey, Pre-mite Hockey, Basic Skills, and Pre-Hockey levels. As students progress through each of the classes, the players will be equipped with the skills necessary to transition to the next level and, eventually, to the next phase of their hockey careers.

    • Evaluations take place during the 2nd to last week of the session and will determine if the skater is ready for the next level of the progression model.
    • Make-Up classes are available should a skater be unable to attend a class. Please contact Coach Chelios

    HOW TO REGISTER

    STEP ONE - PURCHASE A LEARN TO SKATE USA MEMBERSHIP, PLEASE CLICK HERE . This membership runs from July 1st, 2024 - June 30th, 2025.

    All skate school participants for learn to skate and learn to play hockey classes must have a valid Learn to Skate USA Membership purchased in their name. This $20 mandatory insurance membership is for one year, July 1st through June 30th, and must be renewed yearly. Please be sure to have purchased this on our website BEFORE registering for classes.  You will be unable to register for skate school classes unless you have this purchased. Choose ‘Log In’ on the homepage of our website, then choose ‘Memberships.’  Each skater is required to have this membership. Once completed, you may return to the activity registration page and select the appropriate class. 

    Remember, each skater must have a Learn to Skate USA Membership. This is a requirement for all our classes, so please ensure you've purchased it before proceeding with the activity registration process.

    STEP 2 - REGISTER FOR YOUR CLASS
    Once you purchase the membership, to register for the following classes below, please click on this link and it will take you into the registration portal. At this time please login.

    After you login, you will then type in the class that you would like to register for in the white activity search box. 

    You will have your choice of Summer 1, Summer 2 or 10 Week Summer Session.
